Learning Through Play (Seattle, WA) 2014-2018
Collaborators: Nell Robinson, Childhaven; Jason Gortney, Children’s Home Society of Washington (CHSW); Frontiers of Innovation, Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child
Early childhood cognitive game play intervention project for children exposed to poverty, trauma, and neglect. Conducted data analysis in R, independent hypothesis testing, and report writing. Presented study results to varying audiences, consisting of researchers and practitioners of mixed specialties. Advised and implemented changes in successive iterations. Wrote and managed research protocol for OPHS.
Cognitive Play (Berkeley, CA) 2016-2017

Cognitive game play intervention in elementary school setting (K-2nd grade). Oversaw daily data collection and implementation of program onsite in public elementary school, including supervision of undergraduate assistants. Created game play curriculum and research appropriate materials.

Website and database connecting San Francisco Bay Area researchers, practitioners, and parents. Managed all technical and information aspects of the website and database. Created newsletters highlighting work in the research community.
